The woven, fiel-grey canvas/rayon blend construction, gas warning flag set, holster shaped, carrying pouch is roughly wide top section tapering down to a wide bottom section and expanding side panels. The pouch has a fold over top flap with a stitch on, vertical, closure strap with a corresponding, opened rectangular, metal buckle positioned on the obverse body of the pouch. The obverse, upper section of the pouch has the addition of a "U" shaped pocket designed to contain the seventy-five feet of marking tape. The reverse, top section of the pouch has an integral, machine stitched on, coarse, field-grey web, carrying strap with an opened rectangular, metal joining clip and a sliding, opened rectangular, metal length adjustment buckle. The bottom edge of the pouch has an internal stiffening and reinforcement panel so the pointed tip ends of the flag poles would not puncture the pouch. The pouch is in overall good condition with light to moderate age and usage toning. Besides the bright golden yellow marking tape the pouch also contains the original warning flag poles and flags. The flag poles all retain the majority of their matte red paint and the flags vary from very good to good condition. Scarce complete set.
